Your TCGplayer store data, in your own tools

A Hoard API key is read-only and covers your own TCGplayer store. Use it to pull live listings, orders, and pricing rules into Google Sheets or your own script.

Using Claude, ChatGPT, or Codex? You need no key. Connect the assistant directly. For market prices on any card, use tcgmcp.

What a key can read

Data	What you get
Listings	Quantity, your listed price, and Hoard's target price
Orders and refunds	Items, amounts, fees, and refund details, without buyer details
Pricing rules	Your rules in priority order
Sync status	Your store's sync state

What it never includes

Market prices. For those, use tcgmcp.
Other sellers' data.
Buyer names or addresses.
Write access. A key cannot change a listing, a price, or a rule.
Mana Pool store data. Keys cover your TCGplayer store only.

Set up in three steps

Create a key

Open Settings > Connected apps > API keys, name the key, and copy it. Hoard shows it once. Only the account owner can create keys, and you can have up to 10.

Test the key

Select Test key. Hoard makes one request and shows your first listing.

Copy the Sheets prompt or the curl command

Paste the prompt into ChatGPT or Claude and it writes a Google Sheets script. The key stays in the script's properties, never in the chat. Developers can copy a ready curl command instead.

You can rotate or revoke a key at any time.

Why this exists

TCGplayer's developer documentation says: "We are no longer granting new API access at this time." (TCGplayer developer docs, checked Oct 25, 2026.) TCGplayer's CSV exports are manual downloads, one file at a time. A Hoard key reads your store data live. See more ways to get TCGplayer data out.

Common questions

Does an API key work for any seller?

A key reads the TCGplayer store connected to your Hoard account. It cannot read any other seller's store.

Can a key change my prices or listings?

No. Keys are read-only. To change prices, use your Hoard pricing rules.

Do I need a key to use Claude or ChatGPT?

No. Assistants connect through the Hoard connector and sign in with your account. Keys are for spreadsheets, scripts, and apps.

What if a key leaks?

Revoke it in Settings and the key stops working at once. Rotate it to get a new secret.
