There are three ways to do it: export a CSV from TCGplayer, use a browser extension, or pull a live feed with a read-only Hoard API key. The first is a one-time snapshot, and the last refreshes on demand or on a schedule.
| Way | How it works | Refreshes | Best for |
|---|---|---|---|
| 1. TCGplayer CSV export | Export from the Pricing tab, then File > Import in Google Sheets. | Only when you repeat it | A monthly count or a one-off audit |
| 2. Browser extension or converter | A third-party tool reads your seller pages and writes a file or sheet. | Depends on the tool | Sellers who already use one |
| 3. Hoard API key and Apps Script | A read-only key feeds a script that an assistant writes for you. | On demand or on a schedule | A sheet that stays current |
TCGplayer's Pricing tab has Export From Live and Export Filtered CSV, described in TCGplayer's CSV help article. Download the file, then open a Google Sheet and choose File > Import > Upload.
For the export details and the fields to leave alone, see the CSV export and import guide.
Some third-party browser extensions and converters turn TCGplayer seller data into a spreadsheet or an import file. They differ a lot in what they read and how often they run.
Before you install one, check what data the extension can see. An extension that runs inside your seller portal can read what that page shows. Read the permissions it asks for and who publishes it.
TCGplayer's developer docs say "We are no longer granting new API access at this time" (TCGplayer API getting started, checked Oct 25, 2026). Hoard gives you a read-only key to your own store data instead.
Create the key in Settings > Connected apps and use the Test key button. Hoard then shows a Google Sheets prompt with Copy for ChatGPT and Open Claude buttons. The assistant writes an Apps Script, and you paste it into your sheet. The script reads your key from Script Properties and fills the sheet each time you run it. You can also add a time trigger so it refreshes on a schedule.
The step-by-step tutorial covers the whole setup. The API keys page explains what a key can read.
The inventory feed returns one row per live listing with these fields:
Listings with a quantity of zero are left out. The feed does not include market prices, other sellers' data, or buyer details.
Treat the key like a password. Never paste it into a chat with ChatGPT or Claude. Put it in Script Properties, where the script reads it.
If a key leaks, revoke it on the same Connected apps page. Rotating a key makes the old one stop working at once.
If you only need a count now and then, use way 1. If you want a sheet that stays current, use way 3. A sheet also has limits as the store grows, which spreadsheet versus inventory software covers.
Open the Pricing tab in your seller portal and choose Export From Live or Export Filtered CSV. TCGplayer's help article describes both options.
Not by itself. A read-only Hoard API key plus an Apps Script can refresh the sheet on demand or on a schedule. TCGplayer's CSV export is a manual download.
No. A Hoard API key is read-only. It can read your listings, orders, pricing rules and sync status, but it cannot edit anything.
No. The feed covers your TCGplayer store only.
Connect your TCGplayer store and get a free diagnostic of your store, then create a read-only key.
