Card Dealer Pro scans cards and lists them to eBay, Shopify, CollX, and Whatnot. Hoard scans cards and lists them to TCGplayer, then keeps repricing them.

Best for
Hoard fits a seller whose sales are mostly on TCGplayer. Card Dealer Pro fits a seller who lists on eBay, Shopify, CollX, or Whatnot.

What Card Dealer Pro's site says it does

Card Dealer Pro's homepage says to "use an autofeed scanner, flatbed or smartphone to rapidly ingest card images." It also lists adding cards from a scanner, phone, or cert number. A native Mac and Windows app handles scanning.

The homepage says the app publishes listings to eBay, Shopify, CollX, or other marketplaces. Its FAQ names eBay, CollX, Whatnot, and Shopify as direct connections, and says CSV export works with any system. TCGplayer is not named on the homepage.

The homepage says its visual search matches cards to a database of 20 million unique card records. It does not name specific games. Plans are billed monthly, and annual billing saves 16%.

Prices are from the homepage as of October 2026. Technical.ly reported that CollX acquired Card Dealer Pro in June 2022.

Where Card Dealer Pro is the better fit

Card Dealer Pro lists directly on eBay, Shopify, CollX, and Whatnot. Hoard lists and reprices on TCGplayer only, so a seller who sells mostly on eBay should start with Card Dealer Pro.

Card Dealer Pro's entry plan costs $9 a month, and Hoard's listing plan is $299 a month.

Where Hoard is the better fit

Hoard fits a store that sells on TCGplayer. You scan a folder, review the matches, and publish. The Hoard Desktop agent then uploads the new listings, and Hoard reprices them on your plan's sync schedule. The bulk scan guide walks through this flow.

Hoard has limits. It does not read condition from a photo. Foil and non-foil printings with the same art need a check in review. Games other than Magic, Yu-Gi-Oh, and Fusion World need Hoard Desktop running to scan, as of October 2026. Listing needs a paid plan or trial and a TCGplayer Level 4 account. See seller levels.

On Hoard's test sets, the matcher picked the correct card first for 175 of 175 Yu-Gi-Oh scans and 97% of 401 Magic scans. In September 2026, two stores kept Hoard's first suggestion for 84.7% of 2,236 scanned cards. We found no published accuracy figure for Card Dealer Pro.
