Employees usually take intake, shelving, pulling, and packing. In Hoard each person gets their own login, pricing and billing stay owner-only, and a new puller can work from a phone with no login, and the pull report shows how long each person takes.
| Job | Where it happens in Hoard | Who does it |
|---|---|---|
| Intake and scanning | Scan imports and Quick Add | Employee login |
| Shelving | Box and slot locations | Employee login |
| Pulling orders | Pull Sessions | Employee login, or anyone with the QR code |
| Packing | Your own packing station and postage tools | Outside Hoard |
| Pricing, orders, billing | Dashboard and Settings | Owner only |
Hoard has two roles, Owner and Staff. Staff can scan, use Quick Add, shelve cards, publish their own stock, and run pulls. Staff cannot reach pricing, Settings, billing, orders, or the dashboard.
Each employee has their own login with email and password, a magic link, Google, or Discord. Staff see their own scans, drafts, and volume. The owner sees everyone's. When someone leaves, Disable signs them out on their next request.
Employee logins are included on Diamond ($299 a month, no per-seat fee). See pricing. Setup steps: Team overview, invite an employee, sign in with Google, and sign in with Discord.
A pull session prints a QR cover sheet. The puller scans it with a phone or tablet and sees a picture of each card in the order you set for your cabinets. There is no app to install and no login.
A new employee can match an image instead of reading set codes and condition abbreviations. See mis-pick prevention and the TCGplayer pull sheet guide.
The pull sheet asks "Who's pulling?" Pullers tap their name, type one under "Someone else", or tap "Skip for now". The phone or tablet remembers the choice for 30 days, and staff signed in to Hoard are recorded automatically. The puller is recorded when someone taps Mark done, so if two people work one game, whoever taps it gets the credit. Pulls from before this release have no puller.
Open Pull times from Sales, then Pulls. Pullers by game shows each person next to the store average for the same game and type, and tapping a name shows how their pace changes week to week. If the store averages 14 seconds per card on One Piece PWE and one puller averages 25, start your coaching with them. This is an example, not customer data. Set that average as the target for new hires and train against it. Staff see only their own times, under "Your pull times".
For intake, see tracking which employee added inventory and the docs page on what each employee added.
One $3M-a-year TCGplayer store used visual pulls with the same five-person back-of-house team. Over two months, order volume rose 40%. One Piece pulls went from about 3.5 minutes to 75 seconds per order, and refund complaints fell about 40%. This is one store, so your numbers will differ. See the visual pull case study.
For sign-in, see TCGplayer multiple users. To compare tools, see tools for TCG stores with employees. Mis-picks that reach customers become refunds.
Yes. The owner invites each employee by email from Settings. Employee logins need the Diamond or Vault plan.

No. A puller scans the QR code on the pull sheet with a phone or tablet and sees card images. No app and no login are needed. The sheet asks who is pulling, and the puller can tap a name or skip.
Diamond is $299 a month with no per-seat fee, so more employees do not change the price.
Hoard shows who scanned or added each card and who pulled each game, with their time per order. It does not tie a mis-pick or refund to the puller.
No. One account is one store. A person who works at several stores can belong to each one and switch between them.
